WE BELIEVE in one eternal God who is the creator and sustainer of all things, who is eternally, co-existing in three persons of equal and divine perfection as: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17; Mark 12:29; John 15:26; John 17:21-23; Eph. 4:4-6; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
WE BELIEVE that the Old and New Testament is the verbally inspired and infallible Word of God and is without error as it was originally given. These scriptures are the revelation of God to man and are the complete and final authority for salvation and for our behavior as we live out the Christian faith. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:19-21; Isaiah 40:8; 2 Samuel 23:2; Acts 1:16; Jeremiah 1:9; Psalm 119)
WE BELIEVE that humanity was originally created in the image of God and enjoyed undisrupted fellowship with God. It was through choices of disobedience that fellowship was interrupted, resulting in spiritual and physical death being brought into the world. Since this original sin, all humanity is born in a spiritual state of separation from God which is passed down through the generations like a spiritual birth defect. (Genesis 3; Hosea 6:7; Romans 5:14; 1 Corinthians 15:12)
WE BELIEVE that God the Son, Jesus Christ, was born of the Virgin Mary, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and being fully God and fully human at the same time, died a substitutionary death for humanity's sake. He was buried and raised from the dead on the third day by the power of God, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father making intercession as our High Priest. The only way to have eternal fellowship restored with God is through accepting Jesus Christ as the only mediator between humanity and God. At an age of understanding, individuals must repent of personal sin and put their faith in Christ's sacrifice on the cross as paying the price for sin. To refuse Jesus is to choose eternal separation from the God of the Old and New Testament. Salvation is given freely through grace and is not earned by good works, even though good works will be manifested in the lives of those belonging to Christ. (Matthew 1:18-25;Luke 1:26-35; John 3:16-18; Acts 4:12; Acts 22:23; Romans 10:8-9; 1 Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 2:17; Hebrews 4:14-16; Romans 11:6; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; James 2:14-26)
WE BELIEVE that God the Holy Spirit is the agent of regeneration and renewal for humanity and that He convicts the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment. He makes the presence of Jesus Christ real in Believers' lives enabling them to live in a manner that honors God and He exhibits the power and gifts of God through Believers as God wills. Holy Spirit is also the guiding power that enables Believers to obey the Great Commission to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord to all the earth.(Matthew 3:11; Mark 1:8; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:4-8; Titus 3:4-7; Ephesians 3:16-19; Romans 8:11-16)
WE BELIEVE in the bodily return of Jesus Christ to take His Church to be with Him in eternity in the New Heaven and New Earth that Christ is preparing for all people who have accepted Him as Savior and Lord of their lives. (Acts 1:10-11; Mathew 24:30-31; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1-3)
WE BELIEVE that God alone is the final judge of both the living and the dead. (Acts 10:42; 2 Timothy 4:1; 1 Peter 4:5; Revelation 20:11-15)
